This research aim to study the growth and yield performance of 9 soybean cultivars. Research were conducted in Loktabat (Banjarbaru Regency) and Sukaramah (Tanah Laut Regency) in March ti! June 20075. Experiment units at each location arranged by Randomized Block Design and repeated by 3 times. Nine soybean cultivars i.e. Argomulyo, Bromo, Kawi. Lawit, Nanti. Pangrango, Sibayak. Tanggamus, and Wilis were used in this experiment. Size of plots was 5x4 m, plant spacing between rowswas 40 em and within rows was 15 em, and 2 crops per dump. Growth variables data were recorded from 4 dumps (8 soybean sample plant) aged 2 till 9 Week After Sowing (WAS). Result of the research showed that culftivars and locations interaction caused significant difference to crop height 2, 4, and 8 was, leaf wide 2 WAS, biomass dry weight2 and 4 WAS - crop growth rate 2-4 WAS, net assimilation rate 2-4 WAS, and number of productive branchs. For both of Banjarbaru and Sukaramah, Tanggamus and Wilis cultivar were showed better adaptability than 7 cultivars else.
