The objective of research is to know the extractive and phytochemical contents of wet and dry resin of Avicennia marina Vieth. Phytochemical content consist of alcaloid, saponin, flavonoid, terpenoid (steroidand trlterpenoid),and quinon. The above materials were analized in the laboratory of faculty of Mafhematical and Natural Sains of Lambung Mangkurat University. Completely randomize design was used in the research. The result of research showed that extractive rate of wet resin was higher(47,67%) than dry resin (12,53%). Phytochemical content showed different compound between wet and dry resin. In wet resin contained alca/oid,quinon and flavonoid, meanwhile in dry resin contained saponin, quinon and flavonoid. The production rate of wet resin is higher (3D,17 gram) than dry resin (5,3 gram).
