Formula Student has several categories, one of which is the Electric Car. Formula Student Electric Car is a category for electric-powered racing cars. The use of this power as an alternative to fossil fuels that have reduced inventory. In Indonesia, the development of Formula Student Electric Car category yet. So in this thesis will discuss the engineering process Formula Student Electric Car. Formula Student Electric Car consists of components that support so that the driver can drive well and comfortable so we need a chassis that is able to bear the weight of components and drivers. In the design process will be carried out calculations to analyze the stress, deformation and security. The chassis has been designed to meet the requirements based on criteria of strength and stiffness. So the chassis has been made in this final declared safe against loading.
