Data from the Association of American Medical College (AAMC) shows that 70% of smokers will visit doctors every year. Doctor’s knowledge and attitudes influence smoking cessation offering to help smokers quit smoking. Researcher want to investigate the association between doctor’s knowledge and attitude by doctors at Lung Clinic RSUP Persahabatan with smoking cessation offering to handle their patient. Objectives: To prove the association between doctor's knowledge and attitude towards smoking cessation program and it’s offering by Doctor at Lung Clinic RSUP Persahabatan. Methods: The research was done cross sectionally to 48 doctors at RSUP Persahabatan. The doctor's knowledge and attitude was assessed by questionnaire from journal "Investigation of Hongkong doctors' current knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, confidence and practices: implications for the treatment of tobacco dependency ", and smoking cessation program offering was assessed by questionnaire “Smoking Cessation Program Offering”. Results: There is a significant assosiation between doctor's knowledge toward smoking cessation and it’s offering p = 0.042 (p <0.05 and there is also a significant association between the doctor's attitude toward smoking cessation and it’s offering p = 0.001 (p <0.05) by doctors at Lung Clinic RSUP Persahabatan.
