Many theories try to correlate physical activity intensity with reduction of stress. The purpose of this research is to find whether there is correlation between stress and physical activity intensity or not among medical students in Indonesian Chatholic University of Atma Jaya. Method: The method of this study is analytic cross-sectional. Result: The results from this study are: 1 )among those who experience stress, there are 3 males and 15 females who do low intensity of physical activity, 15 males and 21 females who do moderate intensity of physical activity, 5 males and 4 females who do high intensity of physical activity; 2) among those who do not experience stress, there are 3 males and 18 females who do low intensity of physical activity, 20 males and 30 females who do moderate intensity of physical activity, 7 males and 11 females who do high intensity of physical activity; 3) p scores more than 0.05; 4) low intensity of physical activity has the highest correlation (highest Spearman’s rho) score with stress, either on males or females. Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between physical activity and stress among medical students in Indonesian Catholic University of Atma Jaya.
