Isi artikelThese two recent books add to a growing number of titles on the New Zealand and Australian screen industry. Following a long-established pattern, some lump the two countries together; some treat them as separate entities. In respect of New Zealand, recent titles have included the edited collection by Conrich and Murray (2007), New Zealand Film-Makers, and in respect of New Zealand as a film location, texts include the Lam and Oryshchuk (2007) edited collection, How We Became Middle-Earth: A Collection of Essays on The Lord of the Rings, and the Ernest Mathijs (2006) edited collection, The Lord of the Rings: Popular Culture in Global Context.
