| Corporate social responsibility (CSR) at the beginning was companies initiative which had its social or philantrophic objective as reflected in their vision and mission. After the enactment of UU PT (The Limited Company Act) which regulates all businesses in natural resources, CSR becomes a legal obligation that must be fulfilled by every company, which imposes sanction to the violators, PT. RAPP is one of companies which has been reported succesful in implementing the CSR. The writer researched how PT. RAPP developed its charity activities into the empowerment of local people nearby. |
