Abstract
This research was conducted in order Small Medium Enterprise (SME) IRA Silver can develop their business and retain silver handicraft business that is increasingly declining. This study aims to analyze the components of technology owned by SME IRA Silver and determine which component of technology is not optimal. Component of technology which is not optimal to be enhanced by the process of technological innovation to develop SME IRA Silver. SME IRA Silver are engaged in the craft of silver, such as household items, key chains, jewelry, and more. In this research, the calculation of the value of the technology components using technometric model. The results of the model are the component of technology technoware has SOTA value of 0.2125 and contribution component value of 0199; technology component humanware has SOTA value of 0.4500 and contribution component value of 0544; technology component infoware has SOTA value of 0.3300 and 0.296 for the value of contribution component; technology component orgaware has SOTA value of 0.5 and 0.667 for the value of contribution component. TCC value owned by SME IRA Silver amounted to 0.02 which indicates SME are at traditional levels.
SOTA value smaller than the value of the contribution of components on humanware and Silver IRA orgaware show that SME need improve humanware and orgaware with the innovation process according to Martin (1996) in order component of technology can be used optimally.
