One of the factors which led to increased tuberculosis is lifestyle, such as excessive alcohol drink, smoking, inadequate shelter, and inadequate health facilities. Excessive alcohol drink suspected can increase the risk of tuberculosis. The purpose of this scientific papers is to determine the correlation between excessive alcohol drink and risk of tuberculosis. The method is performed by a literature review of the medical literature related to the topics that will be discussed by literature searches, then the analysis and selection of literature, and writing the scientific papers. The results obtained from this study is the presence of correlation between excessive alcohol drink and risk of tuberculosis. The result is proved by the decrease of the immune system caused by exposure to alcohol thus allowing reactivation of tuberculosis bacteria.
