The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that has influence in sleep quality changingin cancer patients. Method: This study is a descriptive study with cross-sectional study of136cancer patientsinDharmais Cancer Hospital (RSKD) Jakarta. Especially in the inpatient and outpatient room.Sampling was done by consecutive sampling and using interview with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) question sheet. Results: Chemotherapy has significant associationon sleep quality with p=0.003 (<0.05). But for gender, age, education, and stage of cancer there is no significant association to sleep quality. Alkylating agent in chemotherapy also affect the sleep quality in cancer patients in Dharmais Cancer Hospital statistically(p=0.043). Conclusion: Chemotherapy has a significant association with the sleep quality in cancer patient and alkylating agent also affect the sleep quality in this study.
