Objective: To identify differences in knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding home care between freshly graduated FKUAJ doctors and general practitioners in Atma Jaya Hospital (RSAJ) and community health centers in Penjaringan Sub-district.

Methods: The design of this study was cross-sectional. Respondents in this study were all general practitioners who had practiced in Atma Jaya hospital and community health centers in Penjaringan Sub-district and 35 freshly graduated doctors of FKUAJ 2014. The study was conducted at Atma Jaya hospital, Atma Jaya Catholic University School of Medicine and 7 community health centers located in Penjaringan Sub-district, Jakarta, in August and October 2014. Respondents are assessed by questionnaire, including questions about knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of home care. Data were analyzed by Fisher's Exact test.

Results: 88,6% freshly graduated FKUAJ doctors and 93,8% general practitioners have a good knowledge. Both of the groups have a good attitude. Behavior of General practitioners not good enough because only 46,9% of them have a plan to do home care in the future.
