An increasing number of the elderly population in Indonesia raises new issues in the world of health. Home care is a community health program that can help solve the problem. A doctor having an important role in the success of this program. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine whether there are differences in the level of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of general practitioners between Atma Jaya Hospital (RSAJ) and health centers in Penjaringan. Methods. This research is an analytical study using cross-sectional design. Respondents came from RSAJ and clinics in Penjaringan are selected according to the inclusion criteria, amounting to 32 people. Data collected through questionnaires. Test data analysis performed using the Fisher Exact statistical test with a P value = 0.05.. Results. A total of 100% of RSAJ respondents and 89,5% health centre respondents have a good knowledge of home care. Statistical analysis showed that there is no difference between the two groups of respondents knowledge. The majority of both groups of respondents agree with the holding of the home care program. A total of 68.4% of respondents never do home care health centers, and only 38.5% of respondents RSAJ ever do home care. Conclusion. This study showed no difference in the level of knowledge and attitudes among doctors who work in Atma Jaya hospitals and Health Centre in Penjaringan. However, there is a difference in behavior between the two groups of respondents. Suggestion.
