Quality is an important thing that must be considered by a company because it involves meeting the needs of consumers associated with satisfaction. The quality is considered very important for the organization because it can enhance the reputation of the company, lowering costs, and increase market share. Both companies that produce goods and services, both should pay attention to quality. Associated with this, the company must continue to think of ways to maintain and improve the quality of its products. One is the development of technology. In large organizations usually have implemented technology development is quite good because people - men who were more educated and more forward -thinking, and the existence of sufficient capital. In contrast, the development of technology in smaller organizations such as the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are usually more limited due educational background is not too high and still sober thoughts as to earn money just to eat. SMEs were examined in this study are SMEs Surya Independent Business in Yogyakarta, which produces hand crafted from coconut shells. This study aims to: 1) Identify the condition of the technology used in SMEs Surya Independent Business. 2) Determine the assessment component of solar technologies in SMEs with technometric of Independent Business , and 3) Analyze capabilities in SMEs Solar technology components of Independent Business on the quality of the resulting product. Based on the results of the research in SMEs, it is concluded as follows: 1) The condition in SMEs Solar technology of Independent Business has been quite optimal because the results of the calculation of the value of the beta (ß) for all four components of close to 1 (one). 2) Value Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) for SMEs Solar Independent Business is based on the calculation technometric of 0.037, and 3) Results of the PLS software shows that the technology component does not have a significant relationship to the quality of products in SMEs Solar Independent Business . |
