Anthropometric data is required in designing product, but human body dimension is too much if it is measured one by one directly. In addition, anthropometric database software that has already existed, is not directly related to the product design. This research aims to develop anthropometric database software that can be used to store, process, display anthropometric database, and can identify the correlation between body dimensions to find a combination body dimension that support product design. The development of software is done through four main phase: planning phase, analysis phase, design phase, and implementation phase which is based on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of the validation and verification software indicates that the software can be run in accordance with its function and the software can perform calculations correctly. The respondent of test is 10 industrial engineering students at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in Jakarta. Based on the test results, the average time to learn this software for the first time is 18.25 minutes, the average time for beginners to do all of the activities with the software is 12.91 minutes, and after three days of not using the software, obtained an average time to do all of the activities with the software is 12.09 minutes. The number of errors tend to diminish from each test. Through sheets of feedback which is given to the respondent, the software has given satisfaction. Overall, the software has fulfilled the high usability aspects (learnability, satisfaction, memorability, and error) with score 0.9167. Keywords: Anthropometry, Database, SDLC, Usability |
