Research methodologies cover three phases in system development lifecycle, these are analysis, design and implementation. Analysis phase covers commodity selection and requirement analysis. Deisgn phase covers database, input and output design. The outcome of this research is a web - based plant germplasm information system producing a number of reports, namely : 1. family, genus and taxon list 2. commodity list 3. accecion, source and cooperator list 4. observation list 5. descriptor keys 6. institution and curator list, and 7. evaluation list System has been verificated using data samples from six food corp commodities, that is rice, maize, soybean, penaut, mungbean, and sweet potato.
