Thermoelectric is a device that can convert a wasted heat energy into electricity or vice versa. This energy can be converted directly without the need for additional parts or other components. The design is done in this thesis aims to create a power source that comes from motorcycle exhaust heat energy. The test performed by using 1, 2, and 3 thermoelectrics with series circuit on 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000 rpm for 10 minutes from when the motorcycle engine begin to ignite but not moving. The results that can be concluded from the test are using 1 thermoelectric at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes generate the thermoelectric most high efficiency, voltage, and current about 12,61%, 4,45 V, and 0,71 A. Another test was performed when the motorcycle engine ignites and moving with 3 thermoelectrics, the result was 2% of the powerbank was chargedfor about thirty minutes. |
