Centrifugal pumps are very common in industry and construction field as a fluid transfer device. Two common problem that often occurs is the need for greater flow rates and higher pressure head. The study was conducted to analyze the performance characteristics curve of single pump, series and parallel arrangement systems. Pump test bench is equipped with transistor inverter to regulate motor rotation, pressure gauges at the inlet and exit pump system and flow meter device. The results of data analysis shows a single pump has a head 9.29 m, the capacity of 0.0036 m³ / s. Pump series arrangement has a head of 17.9 m with flow capacity of 0.0033 m³ / s. And the parallel arrangement of the pump has a capacity of 0.0069 m³ / s with a head of 7.17 m. |
