| The motorcycle tire changer machine that has been design is a development of existing machine, the addition is the second arm mechanism which purpose to shorten the time for installing tire from 3 minutes to 1 minutes. In this final project, the micro controller based mechanism was design to manage linear or angular movement mechanism in the main arm, the pushing arm and the lever arm and the table’s rotation. The main arm’s moving mechanism that is moving forward and backward work as pushing and lever arms’ pedestal in order to precise when doing work mechanism, the pushing arm moving up and down for making space between velg and tire, the lever arm moving up and down for levering and opening tire also table’s rotation for rotating tire in uninstalling and installing tire. This final project was managed by C programming language and using the working process flow chart. The result is all of the linear movement of the main arm, pushing arm and lever arm also rotation of the table can be run well and as we wish. |
