Abstract
In the working world, every company wants to be the best company in its field. Companies use a variety of ways to be able to beat competitors-competitors to be companies that are profitable and dominate the market. Improving the performance of the company is an important factor in determining the success or failure of the company. Firms need to have the right business strategy in an efort to grow and develop competitiveness. PT. KMK Global Sports is a company engaged in the shoe. PT.KMK Global Sports manufactures shoes and sandals for export to foreign countries. The level of export production in the Global Sports PT.KMK in 2012, in August and December tend to be good. While previous months are not in accordance with the export production. Plan lies in how the eforts of the company in managing its human resources so that employees would provide the best performance for the company. Performance or achievements of the work is the result of the quality and quantity of work achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to him. With the high level of performance is expected to form a profitable company. So from this study will be known how the performance of the employee's performance for PT. KMK Global Sports. In this study the performance of employees is reflected by two variables, namely worker engagement and leadership. Testing these hypotheses using the concept of SEM (structural equation modeling) with AMOS-based software. Based on the results of data processing, there are several variables that need to be improved, in order to improve employee performance. Of two variables tested, there were no significant value to the performance of the employees of PT. KMK Global Sports. So that needs to be learned again what are the factors that determines the performance of the employees of PT. KMK Global Sports.
