Isi artikel
In some circumstances social democratic or labour parties can manage the process of capital accumulation more successfully than conservative parties. The period between 1983 and 1991 in Australia is a good example of the advantages social democracy can sometimes provide for the bourgeoisie. The Australian experience during this and the subsequent period also illustrates that social democratic economic policy can impose heavy costs on workers.
