But there are pros and cons about it among doctors and the public community. Therefore it would be interesting if there are further discussions about its safety and comfort using water birth for normal labor. Methods : Gathered information from medical journals and valid website. After that, analyze the basic theory and research that have been done before. Results : Water birth can reduce labor pain and the use of analgesics. Many people know water birth from information provided by mass media. However, there were cases of infections that occur both to the mother and baby and other issues related to safety.
