A number of different cutaneous manifestations occur in these two disorders, some of which are more likely to occur in patients that produce Ro antibodies than in those patients that do not. Ro autoantibodies have also been found with increased frequency in other cutaneous disorders that are not necessarily associated with LE or SS.
