Isi artikelSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is the prototype of systemic autoimmune disease often presenting with multiorgan involvement. Although arthropathy is common, the presentation is usually limited to that of fleeting polyarthralgia or polyarthritis without erosive changes. Sacroiliitis, on the other hand, typically affects patients with seronegative spondyloarthropathy. Its occurrence in patients with SLE is rare.
