Isi artikel
The "dekstop environment" originally conceived ot of research on human factors, is becoming increasingly popular in educational software. In an attempt to bridge the science of instructional design with a dynamic interface, this paper analyzes the environment (familiar to the users of Macintosh and similiar systems), with respect to characteristics which make it cognitively powerful for instructional delivery. Based on this analysis, guidelines are provided on how the interface can be effectively used to create software for compuer-based instruction (CBI).
