Nowadays, Indonesia's economic has grown quickly. The amount of firms has Increased and all of them fighting each other tightly to get as much profit as possible. This is the main purpose of the firm, to operate their firms in an unlimited time. In ot[ier words, they need to keep their existence by producing income/gain. To reach the main purpose of the firm, they need to do corporate responsibility at economic, social, and environment. The Corporate responsibility means the responsibility of firms to produce income. At the other side, corporate responsibility at social and environment means the commitments of the firms for help governments at the development of the country lik£ Improve the life quality of the people or do not destroy yhe environment around their ares, which mean they should think about the other beside their main purpose to produce income.
This research will analyze about the connection between the age of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, the gender of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Managerial Ownerhip and Foreign ownership with Corporate Social Responsibility and its disclosure. This research will have the manufacturing firms that are listed in BEI in Indonesi as the object of research. The object will use multiple linear regression method and use the Statistical Package for The Social Science
program (SPSS) version 16.0, with significant value of 5%.
Hypothesis test results indicate that (1) the age of CEO has significant effecj to Corporate Social Responsibility and its disclosure, (2) the age of CFO has significant to Corporate Social Responsibility and Its disclosure. (3) the gender of CEO has leant effect to Corporate Social Responsibility and its disclosure. (4) the gender of !0 has significant effect to Corporate Social Responsibility and its disclosure. (5) material Ownership doesn't have significant effect to Corporate Social Responsibility Its disclosure, (6) Foreign Ownership doesn't have significant effect to Corporate il Responsibility and its disclosure. For setting a better result, the next research about Corporate Social SwponsiblHty need to Increase the amount of the sample, then the amount of the Independent variable also need to be Increased like the firms commitment, team J&tenfBtoi, etc lo produce better research and also the better result. To improve the Corporate Social Responsibility, it needs the leader's awareness, so does the firm's nenagerial that is from Inside or outside. |
