This study aims to identity the influence of commitment and competency to employee performance in PT X, Cikini Area. In addition, this study also has purpose to identity whether there is any difference in sexes, age and educational level of the employee in the commitment, competency and performance of the employees. This study was carried out in PT X, Cikini Area by survey method to respondents namely employee in executive grade of 75 people. Data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires regarding commitment, competency and performance of the employees. Scores on response were made with likert scale with statistical analysis. Data analysis model applied is multiple linier analysis. Results of the study indicate that there is a significant relations between commitment and competency at the same time or simultaneously have an influence to employee performance. Additionally, the obtained results show that there is no any significant difference in employee's sexes, age and educational level in commitment, competency and employee performance. So the results of this study can be utilized by the management of PT X, Cikini Area to pay attention to elements which can influence or provide motivations both directly or indirectly to the commitment and competency so they are able to improve employee performance and company's performance- |
