It is concluded that chloroquines are safe and effective first line therapies for selected patients with porphyria cutanea tarda, cutaneous sarcoidosis, cutaneous manifestations of dermatomyositis, hyperlipidemias and thromboembolic prophylaxis for patients with antiphospholipid antibodies.
