Business processes often take a long time and a huge cost so it can hamper the goal desired by the company . Therefore an improvement is needed to improve existing business processes . Business process improvement ( the Business Process Improvement ) is the changes made by companies that are gradually make improvements to make the company has a better performance than the previous , or even have a better performance compared with its competitors . Thus perform the analysis of current business processes . Stages of analysis performed is mapping current business processes to provide clarity to the whole process is carried out at this time , and review current business processes . Through the results of the review process , carried out the design of the proposed improvement of business processes . Repairs were carried out consisting of three categories: process improvement , modification and availability of standard tools . All mapping was conducted using DFD ( Data Flow Diagram ) , while the analysis is done using the " Business Process Improvement " . From the analysis , the proposal generated some fruit , such as changes in the process flow , the addition process , use of tools with the formula in Ms applications . Excel and Ms . Access , and the manufacture of Standard Operating Procedures ( SOP ) . Indicators used for comparison with the current process improvement process is an indicator of quality, cost and time .
