Abstract
The main scope of this paper is to propose a conceptual model that enables to know the influence of TPM implementation among the manufacturing companies both large and small companies. In this paper we will investigate the relationship between Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices and manufacturing performance (MP) through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using company size as moderating variable. This moderator variable influences the strength of a relationship between TPM and MP. Based on some journals about TPM practices in several countries, the significant contributions of TPM implementation success indicators will be explored. Furthermore, the inter-relationships between various TPM practices success indicators with the manufacturing performance parameters can be evaluated, to efficiently manage the TPM implementation program to realize organizational objectives of growth and sustainability.
