Human resources is the most important thing in the company, the high competition encourages firms to improve their quality more further. In improving the quality of human resources, would need to be supported by many factors. One is the corporate welfare given to employees. Many things can be given by the company to improve the welfare of its employees, such as such as pay increase and promotions. In order to determine whether there is any effect of granting salary increases and promotions to job satisfaction, it is necessary to do further research. In this research study, the researcher will observe about the effect of salary increases and promotions to job satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT. Realtime Forex Indonesia, Central Jakarta, with 108 respondents. Data collection techniques obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The questionnaire were compiled by the author and contained questions about the pay raise system, promotion system and job satisfaction. The answers from questionnaire was scored with Likert scale. The descriptive statistical analysis using cross tabulations and inferential statistical analysis is used to test the hypothesis by using simple and multiple linear regression The results showed that there is a significant relationship between employees perception about salary increases system and promotion system together with job satisfaction. The results could be used by the management of PT. Realtime Forex Indonesia to pay more attention to the elements in terms of decision-making that would play a major role to improve the welfare of its employees. |
