Abstract
For Indonesia's economic , small and medium enterprises have an important role in regard to the amount of labor that can be absorbed and its role in preventing gaps in the global economy, because moving the populist -based economy , which could prevent the gap in the global economy . Therefore , this research has SME Sungkai Indah as a case study. SMEs have a goal to grow and have long-term viability . SME’s develompment is viewed by performance of the members . Therefore , every SME tries to improve the performance of employees . In this effort can be done in various ways such as training , increase employee commitment, fulfillment of employees’ job satisfaction. Beside the performance of employees , other important things in an organization is the level of employees’ turnover intention , which it can loss profit if the level of turnover intention is high. Partial Least Square was used as the method , which this method is suitable for a few number of respondent like in SMEs . The purpose of this research is to find the most important variables on the performance and turnover intention of employees and also to provide suggestions for improvement . So SME Sungkai Indah can improve employees’ performance and decrease levels of employees’ turnover intention .
