Abstract
Decision support system is a system that can help making a decisions with the ability to analyze the selection of bidder projects using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this study, a model built based on the AHP method consists of three parts: decision making model, calculating model, and inputting model. Decision making model illustrates the hierarchical structure of decision making for a goal to be achieved. Based on that goal, it will develop the criteria, sub-criteria, and sub-sub-criteria for each companies who participated in the tender project. The calculating model shows the characteristic aspects of assessment and calculation logic, specifically on each sub-sub-criteria. Meanwhile, the inputting model is a system interface design that will be realized in a program as a tool. Each stages in three models are interconnected with each other to become the input for the decision-making process of data processing using Visual Basic programming language with MySQL as the database. This program allows users to overcome the problem when deciding the selected bidder, where users could just enter the data and information relating to the company and fill the level of importance on each sub-sub-criteria. After that, the system will make an assessment based on a model for the rest of them that has been built previously. At the proposed system, the resulting output is the selected bidder on a spesific project in a short time. Using too much time is considered very effective, because the current system of decision-making consumes much time (meeting with each participants needs to be done with a minimum of 3 times intensively). This is one of the comparison aspect between the current system (before repair) with the proposed system.
