Abstract
This thesis analyzes the influence of Day of the Week Effect on Stock Exchange LQ45 in Indonesia. The data used are secondary data consisting of the company's stock price. In addition to the time spent in the study is limited in February 2009 until July 2012. The author uses descriptive statistics and Analysis of Variances (ANOVA) to see the Day of the Week Effect on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Analyses were performed by processing the data rate of return of 22 issuers that are always listed in LQ 45 during the period of February 1, 2009 until July 31, 2012. The results show that there is Day of the Week Effect on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for February 1, 2009 until July 31, 2012 when the study was calculated by the average daily return, where the lowest average return is more likely to occur on Monday, while the highest average return more likely to occur on Friday. It also found inconsistencies in the results of the analysis when the study period was calculated by the average return semester, where the lowest average return is more likely to occur on Monday, while the highest average Retur is more likely to occur on Wednesday
