Isi artikelThis study examines the correlation between personality type A and organizational commitment. The basis proposition is that Type A and Type B personality creates differences in the levels of organizational commitment. The participants were University X employees (N=41) both male and female. Framingham Type A scale and Commitment to Organization scale from Allen and Meyer were used in this study. Using Manova analysis the findings indicate that Type A's employees were higher in the level of commitment than Type B's. It is advised that an individual factor such as personality type is also need to take into account when developing positive organizational attitudes among workers.
