Nowadays there is a tendency that the nationalism among the young generation has been degradated and seemed to sink into the big challenges of the new civilization vortex called globalization.The objective of this paper is to discuss the family's role in forming the attitude of nationalism in young generation.this research used descriptive analytical method.the bottom line is that education in a family environment has an important role to form the nationalism attitude of the young generation.one of ways of parents to build their children'nationalism is by taking them to attend various national days celebrations which is hoped to arise their love towards the indonesian nation and country.
