Abstract
The growth of the human population increases will affect the availability of space. This allows all residential design in the future will choose a design with vertical expansion aims to provide residential space expansion without the influence of population density around the residence. Therefore, do not cover the possibility thatfuture residential houses should beplanned residence with vertical expansion also requires complementary tool to support the mobility of labor and population. Among households with a limited budget will not be able to reach technology products of conventional elevators. For households would be more beneficial if the energy use can be obtained from the environment about which one of them is water. Discussion of hydropower elevators include material selection as well as the analysis of strength and stiffness of hydropower construction elevators.
