Zinc supplementation can be given in the treatment of acute diarrhea. zinc as an essential micro element is important for the body, and it has an important role in the regeneration of intestine. Toodlers who suffer from acute diarrhea have digestive problems, that may disrupt its function of absorption and secretion. Zinc supplementation aims to restore the process of absorption and secretion in the intestine to be normal again.
