Abstract
Ironing process is a way to create a tubular workpiece, where it originally was in the form of thick-walled bowl (thick - walled cup). The process of ironing dies requires a ring that serves to establish the initial product into a tube with a wall thickness specified, the process will be influenced by the surface roughness of the ring dies and will also affect the level of surface roughness of the outer tube products. By doing the proper machining process in the manufacture of ring dies to obtain a certain surface roughness, the surface roughness also be obtained at the desired tube wall CuZn30 accordance with the standards. From the data - the data will then be compared with the data sample surface roughness CuZn30 existing tube (standard).
