Abstract
Regularity of business processes to determine the performance of a company. A company that has not had an effective business process standards often have difficulty in monitoring and maintaining the performance of the process. An example is the Research and Development division at PT Mulia Knitting Factory that do not have a clear standard work process. To analyze and improve current business processes, mapping business processes to provide clarity to the processes that is done at this time. Through the results of the mapping process, current business process analysis and improvement. Repairs were carried out consisting of 3 categories which include modification process, the availability of standard and availability form. All mapping is done by the method of IDEF0 (Integration Definition Language 0), while the analysis was performed using the method of "Business Process Improvement". From the analysis, the resulting 7 pieces proposal. Of the proposal, as many as 5 proposal is approved by the company, namely the implementation of target costing, granting authority to the production department to create alternative products, manufacture of SOP,
form product specifications and table scheduling and monitoring the process of planning and product development trials have been conducted for the proposed form specification product. The result of the performance satisfaction index increased from 1.88 to 2.56 (scale 1-3.)
