This research aims is to know the influence of employee empowerment (task, task allocation, power, commitment and culture) to employee motivation at Rumah Sakit Haji Medan. In this research, there are two variables, which are employee empowerment as independent variable (X) and employee motivation as dependent variable (Y). Yammane used to measured the sample with proportional allocation technique. The population are 390, which 80 are chosen as sample of this research. Data collecting by questionnaire and analysed by Path Analysis Method. Result of statistical analysis indicate that there are positive effect between the five empowerment dimensions (task, task allocation, power, commitment and culture) to employee motivation (52.73%) where task dimension proved as dominant factor. As a recommendation, it is suggested that Rumah Sakit Haji Medan implement employee empowerment in order to increase employee motivation. |
