This research was conducted to obtain anthropometric data base for boys in age 7-11 years old by measuring body dimensions that are useful for product design, facilitiy, and for advanced research. This research used conventional instrument. The result is databases with 28 human body dimensions. The sampling method was convenience sampling, which the subject of research has been approved and ready to be taken as sample data. The number of samples is 131 samples from students in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng, East Jakarta. The research data collection was conducted at October 2012 until November 2012. The result of measurements was recapitulated and through statistical test such as normality test, significance test such as Sample T-Test and ANOVA test using Software Minitab 15. In the Sample T-Test, there were significance test using subpopulation of gender and significance test for comparing data of men body dimensions from 7 until 11 years old in Indonesia and USA. In ANOVA test, there was age subpopulation test. This research also compared and combined data from SDN 02 with SDN 04, 05, 06, and 13. Databases output are mean, deviation standard, and percentiles 1%, 5%, 10%, 50%, 90%, 95%, and 99%. For the consumer industry, database can be useful for manufacture of school uniform, shoes, product, facility, and other tools relating to children. |
