| This research aims to calculate the BMI (Body Mass Index) value and grouping the factors that affect students BMI in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng for every gender and age groups. The research data consists of identities data, data of dietary habits, physical acticivities, and data of economic level are obtained by filling the data sheets and dimensional anthropmetric measurement data obtained from conventional measurement in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng, Cakung, East Jakarta. The subjects are the elementary students in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng, Cakung, East Jakarta who have age range between 7 – 11 years old with male and female gender. The total subjects are 273 children which consists of 131 boys and 142 girls.Research data is processed with SPSS 17.0 software. Based on the results of data processing and discussion on this research, we can see the value and BMI (Body Mass Index) classifications for the students in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng, as well as the factors that affect significantly to students BMI in SDN 02 Ujung Menteng for every gender and age groups. |
