Abstract
The objective of this research is to create an anthropometric database for male with young adult age range to represent the university students in DKI Jakarta using anthroscan. The research was based on the lackness of availability anthropometric database in Indonesia, while also the basic research for body dimension database using anthroscan is rarely used. Output database of this research would consist of 151 physical body dimension The research collected 100 samples of male university students. Data of this research were collected at the end of the month November 2012 until early in December 2012 and also this data were collected through a form of identity and also the output of anthroscan. This research used Minitab 14 software to process the data by using normality test and signification tests. Normality test results show that there are several dimensions which that concluded rejecting H0. Dimensions that concluded rejecting H0 can be utilized in this study, however, if there are similar studies, it is possible that there is a possibility of differences results will be obtained. Signification tests on research conducted on gender subpopulations and reference dimensions significance test with other countries. Output database obtained by processing the data in this study resulting an average (mean), standard deviations, and percentile consisting of 1%, 5%, 10%, 90%, 95%, and 99% of the 151 body dimensions . Eventually resulting database can be generalized to the population of male university students.
