Abstract
Eyes are the visual senses for human. Pupil is one of the eyes important parts. The pupil plays a role in the intensity regulation of the light that is received by the eyes. Abnormality pupil nerve causes slower response of the changes on pupil size. This research design and implement an electronic eyes model to show the changes on pupil size, normally or with abnormality simulating the nerve response. This model will represent the normal eye pupil, anisocoria, 2nd nerve abnormality, 3rd nerve abnormality. Horner syndrome, and pupil of death people. It uses ATMega16 microcontroller, with C programming language, and Code Vision AVR compiler. A penlight is being used as input light stimulus which received by the LDR as light sensor, then processed by ATMega16. It will generate the changes on diaphragm size as output. The camera diaphragm represents pupil. The test result for software and hardware indicates that the system is able to simulate the pupil response to light stimuli, which was verified by a medical expert.
