The objective of this research is to create an anthropometric database for female elementary school students by using conventional method. The research was based on the lackness of availability anthropometric database for female elemantary school students, that can be used as the standard for elementary school students in designing or improving needs or facilities used by elementary school students. Output database would consist of 28 physical human dimension in a standing position. The research collected 142 samples of elementary school female students in DKI Jakarta in age 7 to 11 years old. Data collecting started from the end of October 2012 until early of November 2012. Data collection has done with identity form and measurement form in 28 dimension. This research has collected 142 female elemantary school student’s data. This research used software Minitab 14 to process the data by using normality test and signification tests. Normality test results on research show that there are several dimensions which that concluded rejecting H0. Signification tests on research conducted on gender subpopulations, age subpopulations, and reference dimensions significance test with other countries. The output is antropometric data base of female elementary school students in DKI Jakarta consists of mean, standard deviasi, and percentil P1, P5, P10, P50, P95, dan P99. This output can be applied for female elementary school students in DKI Jakarta. |
