Abstract
Laboratory of Industrial Design and Automation System of Atma Jaya Jakarta Catholic University has Industrial Automation Practicum which is one of the practicum that teaches students about industrial system design based on automation. On the Integrated Manufacturing Robotic Module, students were introduced to miniatures of robot that exist in industry system. The miniatures of robot are combined into one combined plant robotic to perform an integrated industrial system. This combined plant robotic has some weakness and excess that must be evaluated both terms of robot’s performance or plant robotic’s layout arrangement. This research aims to evaluate the operational system of old combined plant robotic that used in Integrated Manufacturing Robotic Module Industrial Automation Module. The result of the evaluation is used to design the new system of combined plant robotic. The evaluation begins by summarizing the characteristic of each plant robotic and examining the operational of old combined plant robotic. The Identification of the problems that exist in the system can be seen from the Rich Picture that describes the problems in the form of picture. The relationship of each variable that affects the system can be seen in the influence diagram. The final results of this research is simple manufacturing system that reflected on the New Combined Plant Robotic both in terms of layout and the script. The results of the layout and the scenario are used for the arrangement of combined plant robotic in Industrial Automation Practicum.
