Abstract
HERO SUPERMARKET is a retail company that has many subsidiaries in the Greater Jakarta area. The Company is engaged in the trading and distribution of retail products. The company is experiencing a state where the cost of shipping the product to cost the most in product distribution activities. so it is necessary to identify the cause of the high cost of all activities in the company in handling products ranging from the beginning of the product distribution to product shipment activity itself. The core of this research is to provide a proposal distribution scheduling system that will minimize the cost of shipping products to HERO stores where there are 67 outlets located in the Greater Jakarta area. Identifying activities with the highest costs do with Activity Based Costing and generate activity product delivery to HERO outlets as an activity with the highest costs. The problem is focused by minimizing the cost of shipping the product to the Shipment Quantity Economical method that produces economical ordering quantities from suppliers and delivery to the consumer. Determination of the amount of product delivery is done by taking the minimum value of the conveyance capacity or economical shipment quantity. Total shipments per product is determined according to the proportion of the total demand per product demand. Delivery of products can not be separated from the route followed when shipping products is done, the current route by HERO company is not maximized in the distance and minimize the cost of shipping the product to a subsidiary. With the method of ad Clarke Wright Algorithm will get the optimal route in minimizing fleet mileage in doing so that product delivery mileage can be minimized which will directly reduce the cost of shipping products. Scheduling delivery of goods from the company to the consumer with the results of Economical Shipment Quantity and new routes were obtained from the calculation of ad Clarke Wright Algorithm into the proposals given to the company and then compared with the old system in the company's delivery schedule.
