This study aims to test whether there is a positive influence between the promotion costs and the value of inventories to sales. This study panel data model using a sample of 31 goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, with series within 6 years from 2001-2006. Total panel observations data is 186 observations, To get the best model researcher compares the fixed effect model and random effect model using the Hausmann test. The result indicates that there is a positive influence of promotion costs and the value of stock to sales by using the fixed effect model.
