| DNA was successfully isolated from human adipose tissue using modified organic extraction method. Result from this experiment could be used for personal identification in forensic cases. Mean of DNA purity score, compare to protein, is 1.288. The enhanced method is needed so that purity score could be increased. Isolated DNA is successfully amplified by beta-globins primer. This successful amplification may give a conclusion that human lipid is a good forensic sample, for DNA fingerprinting analysis. On the other hand, the study is needed to be continued so it is known whether the DNA achieved could be amplified in STRs analysis method. |
