Abstract
The numbers of vehicles in Jakarta that always increases which was not equal with the increasing of road. Beside the system of “park on the street” that used 30% of the road, made the condition of Jakarta streets got worse. That’s why it needed a solution which was able to overcome the limitation of parking spaces that usually use on the side of the road. By designing the automatic parking system for multi level parking building that able to manage and secure the vehicles easily at the same time. The principle of this device was made sure that all the vehicles could be parked well. By using the “slider system” which was connected with the “sling elevator system” to place the vehicle on the space parking that already provided. This modeling design with scaled 1:24 that aimed to give a description of how the whole system works. All the vehicles which were parked using this system’, were used standard dimension from the manufactory accordance with the published brand. The design of this device was an octagon with diameter 900mm and height 900mm which was consists of 4 floors. The 4 floors were consists of 3 floors for parking with 17 parking spaces and 1 floor for the machine room.
